1. How do your mattresses compare to the tempurpedic mattresses?
This is the number one question we get asked. We have seen a lot of memory foam good, bad, ugly and have decided to sell products we have personally tested ourselves. We are very picky about what we sell and have done our research. Most importantly, you first need to ask yourself what tempurpedic mattress feels best to you. Then give us a call we will find your comfort level and pair you up with the right mattress. We promise we have something for everyone, depending on the feel you’re looking for (soft, medium, or firm) we have a mattress for everyone.
2. What foundation do you use?
You can use your original box base if it is firm and solid. If it is not we recommend our made for memory foam wood foundations check out our product list on the left.
3. How is your product different
than the less expensive memory foams sold at warehouse clubs
& discount retailers?
Memory Foam is a broad term used to indicate a visco-elastic
structure. However it is the DENSITY and the ILD (Indentation
Load Deflection) properties that determine the characteristics
of the foam. The less expensive memory
foam toppers, pillows
& mattresses
have different Density and ILD ratings than the leading
national Swedish brand. Most often they carry densities
of only 2-4 lb foams which DO NOT have the same properties
has the 5.3 lb density foams that are highly advertised
being therapeutic offering full support. The 2-4 lb density
foams are much less expensive to manufacture and can be
sold at a much lower price. These foams also tend to warp
and deform in time and do not provide the same feel &
support as our product.
4. What does 5.3 lb density mean?
The weight and the visco-elasticity of the foam are determined
by the amount of chemicals used in the composition of the
polyurethane foam. Generally the higher the density, the
greater the visco-elastic properties exhibited by the foam.
The density does not determine the firmness of the foam.
The ILD (Indentation Load Deflection) rating is the specification
that determines firmness. Most inexpensive foam products
seen in stores are made of only 3-5 lb density foams that
do not provide the same visco-elastic properties as the
5.3 lb foam.
5. What is ILD (Indentation Load
Deflection)?
The ILD rating tells you how hard or soft the foam is. The
higher the ILD rating - the harder the foam. The ILD rating
is the number of pounds required to achieve 25% compression
of a 4 foam using a 50 square inch indentation. Therefore
the 14 ILD foam requires 14 lbs to acquire 25% compression.
For comparative purposes, Tempurpedic™ name brand
foam has an ILD rating between 13 & 14.
6. Does memory foam get you hot?
Memory foam will acclimate to your body temperature. If your house is equipped with air conditioning you will have zero problems. If this is a major concern ask about our flow form memory foam designed to circumvent this issue entirely.

7. Why does this mattress have a smell?
Memory foam has a smell when it is new and it will go away in 1-2 weeks.
8. How long is shipping?
It can take anywhere from 5-12 business days depending on what bed you ordered. Adjustable beds may take longer.
